Thousands join anti-tourism protests in Barcelona
Barcelona protesters throw items and spray travelers with water while shouting ‘tourists go home.’
According to local media, a crowd of 3,000 people marched holding anti-tourism signs and a large banner demanding that city officials “decrease tourists now.” Protesters also used water guns to drive away visitors dining at restaurants.
